Laser
Whether you are eleven years old or sixty years young, there is a reason for you to sail a Laser. Be it for the stress relief, the healthy competition, or for the zen of the water, the spirit of the Laser is best summed up in the words of fleet member Leslie Brock: "Woo hoo!"
In other words, it's just plain fun. Come join in!
Membership in the Laser fleet is open for sailors of the Laser, Butterfly, Force-5, and any other one (wo)man dinghy. Dues are $20 annually and are used to maintain the fleet and its activities, including special programs, refreshments, and fleet trophies. All members of the fleet have access to the Laser demo boat at discounted rate of $10 per session, and when you join, your first session with the demo boat is free!
There's no better way to spend your summer than on a Laser. The fleet is active in the Wednesday night dinghy racing series and is an active participant in club regattas and events.
