The Laser fleet at CYC is a great mix of fun and competition - we help each other rig, keep an eye out for each other on the water, and then enjoy recapping the moments together afterwards. With over half the fleet active in the Wednesday night series, fun is number one and there is certainly lots to be had. Of course, butterflies, Force-5s, and other renegade dinghies are also welcome to join our ranks!

Whether you are eleven years old or sixty years young, there is a reason for you to sail a Laser. Be it for the stress relief, the healthy competition, or for the zen of the water, the spirit of the Laser is best summed up in the words of fleet member Leslie Brock: "Woo hoo!"
