The safety, health, and well-being of our club members is paramount. Below is a summary of temporary policies and provisions related to COVID-19.


  • Events. The Board approved the CSC COVID mitigation plan for a US Sailing Level 1 Instructor Class. Now
    scheduled for May 1-2, 2021. The Board is also supporting CSC efforts to hold Sail Camp this summer
  • Activities. The Board is planning a July 4th party at the club. More details when available. They are also trying to resume racing before the summer, possibly with a Memorial Day Regatta as the kickoff.
  • Due to ongoing restrictions, no CYC sponsored social activities or races will take place. This policy will be revisited in the March Board Meeting.
  • No new clubhouse reservations will be accepted through March 31, 2021. Members may submit tentative reservations for April 1 – the remainder of 2021, understanding these will be subject to change based upon ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.
  • A COVID-19 Compliance Document will be required for any activities that have been scheduled to take place at CYC.
  • In cooperation with the Governor’s Executive Order, temporary COVID-19 activity and event regulations are in place for Concord Yacht Club, including provisions for face coverings and social distancing. For 2021, the work hour requirement has been reduced from 15 hours to 12 hours. If deemed appropriate, additional adjustments to this temporary policy will be addressed later in the year.


All members scheduled for Race Committee Duty will receive credit for performing their required RC Duty for all cancelled races. When a race is canceled, no one is charged for unfulfilled RC hours.  This applies to all the canceled races due to COVID-19 in 2021.
