Club Facilities

All requests for reservations, regardless of the number of attendees, will be handled in the same manner — a formal Reservation Request must be submitted through this CYC website, which ensures that the event will be added to the club calendar and an Event PIN Code will be issued. This will avoid unknown and overlapping usage. Reservations require completion of the Facilities Reservation Form obtained on the CYC website, mailed to the Reservations Coordinator along with applicable checks.

Reservation Process
  1. Review the calendar for availability
  2. Fill out the online reservation form and submit.
  3. Complete, sign, and print two paper copies of the Facilities Reservation form. Keep one copy for your records and send the other copy with two separate checks payable to Concord Yacht Club (one for $250 cleaning deposit, one for reservation fee) to the reservations coordinator (see Facilities Reservation Form linked above for coordinator name and address).
  4. Your reservation will be confirmed via phone or email and posted on the events calendar only after receipt of the appropriate forms and your fee and deposit checks.
  5. You will receive an Event PIN code for gate access during your event. The Event PIN code will only be active for the date(s)/times of your event. Share this Event PIN code with your attendees, caterers, etc.
Additional Facility Reservation Rules:
  1. A CYC member must 1) make the rental reservation, 2) be on the premises for the duration of the group function, 3) be responsible for any damage and clean-up.
  2. No rental will be allowed during Club scheduled functions.
  3. Two (2) weeks advance notice is required.
  4. Dates on the deposit check should match your reservation date. The uncashed deposit check will be shredded provided the facilities are left in good order, unless you request the check be returned.
Club Facility Reservation Fees
Beach Shelter/Grounds Only$25/day
Commodore Room (Up to 50 guests)$75/day
Commodore Room (51-100 guests)$150/day
Commodore Room (101-200 guests)$300/day

About the spaces:

  • The Commodore Room is available for rent by CYC Members in good standing for family and casual group activities. Your reservation is good only for the day you reserved it. If you want to set up the day before an additional day’s rental will be required. Reservations for the Commodore Room do not restrict other members from use of other facilities; however, no other private function will be scheduled for that day/hour.
  • There is no exclusive use of the clubhouse kitchen, club room (foyer area w/fireplace), or breezeway (covered area between bathhouse and clubhouse). These areas are always available for use by all CYC club members. Exclusive rental applies only to the Commodore’s Room.

Boat Facilities & Storage

Concord Yacht Club is not a commercial marina and assignments can only be made to club members. The Club provides trailer spaces for large and small boats dry stored; dry racks for small boats such as Lasers and Sunfish; moorings (self-bailing cockpit); and year-round floating slips (self-bailing cockpit).

Note for new members and applicants: Because there is typically a waiting list for slips and moorings, the Harbormaster can only assign parking and/or add you to the waiting list after you have fully completed the joining process and been added to the official Member Roster.

Reservation Process:

1. Complete the reservations form (see link, top right) to request use of boat facilities (railway, lift) or new or continued use of boat slips, moorings, racks, and parking for dinghies and empty trailers.

2. Before any space is assigned, the owner must also sign duplicate copies of “Boat and Trailer Storage Agreement” and the “Liability Insurance Agreement” and return these forms to the Harbormaster (harbormaster@concordyachtclub.org).

3. The Harbormaster will contact the owner after assignments have been determined. Vacant storage facilities are assigned on the basis of club member’s seniority, as well as boat size or draft. All assignments of boat facilities are made for the Board by the Harbormaster in accordance with current Boat Storage policies.
