Membership

Membership is open to persons meeting CYC membership requirements. Membership involves a number of responsibilities, including financial obligations, service on race committees, minimum work requirements, and participation in other club activities. Club membership also provides a number of privileges related to the use of club facilities and participation in all club social, racing, and instructional activities. PLEASE NOTE: Due to facility limitations, CYC has a limit on the total number of family memberships it can accommodate. 

Those interested in active membership must be interviewed by the Board after submitting an application. A non-returnable application fee of $25 will be applied to the initiation fee upon joining. The costs of membership consist of an initiation fee of $300+$27.75 (less application fee of $25),  a bond of $230 (which is refundable after resignation and the subsequent resale to a new incoming member), and annual dues of $396 plus applicable State Service Tax ($36.63) to be paid semiannually in advance. Dues for the first year must be paid, regardless of the length of membership.
